WW 3 (2001)

In the heart of a seemingly ordinary life as a white collar FBI agent, Larry Sullivan is propelled into a world of danger and secrecy when a lethal virus of unknown origins besieges a cruise ship. With no leads and time running out, he is forced to seek help from his estranged uncle John, a solitary figure who fires warning shots at strangers, but is among the last surviving wizards of the 1960s biological warfare programs. These two unlikely allies, along with Yuri Zenkovsky, an old comrade of John's with Russian roots, uncover an alarming truth. The deadly infiltrator is a modified strain of the Marburg virus, engineered with the contagiousness of the common flu, and designed with the grim intent to decimate an entire continent's populace if unleashed from four strategic points. As the virus makes its deadly march across three of these points, the death toll in North America begins to rise in a chilling exponential curve.
