Plot

At a lively gathering, an unexpected guest introduces a Ouija board, proposing a harmless attempt to communicate with a familiar spirit. The ethereal visitor manifests, but it soon becomes chillingly clear to the man who ushered in the Ouija board, that this apparition is not as it seems. A malevolent spirit is masquerading as his benign spectral acquaintance, eager to wreak havoc in the realm of the living. Despite stern admonitions against solitary encounters with the board, one woman, driven by curiosity and a touch of rebellion, dares to use it alone. The sinister spirit seizes this opportunity to relentlessly harass her, his ultimate aim to possess her body and reclaim a foothold in the world of the living. Meanwhile, her boyfriend Jim watches in growing despair as his beloved succumbs to a dangerous obsession with the ghost she unwittingly summoned. Left with no choice, he swallows his pride and enlists the help of her ex - his own long-estranged childhood confidant. Together, they embark on a desperate quest to identify and exorcise the malevolent entity, wading through layers of fear, betrayal and past misunderstandings. "Witchboard" is more than a tale of supernatural terror; it's a story of friendship, love, and the lengths one would go to save the ones they care about from a darkness that lurks just beyond the veil of reality.
