In the chilling grip of the woods, seventeen years past, Mike Gillis committed the unthinkable. Overwhelmed by his wife's yearning for children, he brutally murdered a new mother of twin girls, spiriting the innocent twins away to a secluded house amidst the forest's shadows. For seven harrowing years, he committed multiple murders to shield his stolen family, his madness culminating in the death of his own wife. One fateful day, a rampant fire consumed the house, burying the secrets of the twisted family under its smoldering ruins and trapping Mike and the twins within.
Fast forward to the present, and the same woods beckon to Stacy Walker. Escaping the torment of her abusive boyfriend, she finds solace in her uncle's old, secluded cabin. Here, her mind begins to unravel, haunted by spectral visions of the twins crying for their mother in the silent nights. Unbeknownst to her, the cold case of the twins' disappearance and their mother's murder is being revisited by Detective Black, and the trail is heating up, leading him to the very woods where Stacy seeks refuge.
As Stacy grapples with her past and the enigma of her haunting visions, her friends, ignorant of her abusive history, unwittingly invite her boyfriend into her sanctuary. The ghostly apparitions of the twins persist, pushing Stacy to the brink of madness. Simultaneously, Detective Black inches closer to unearthing the chilling truth.
The past and present collide in a lethal dance as Stacy finds herself ensnared in a murderous spree. The woods, once her refuge, now echo with the chilling cries of the past, as Stacy is caught in a tangled web of old sins and fresh horror.
