Victor (2009)

In a desperate bid to revive the floundering magazine she's interning at, 23-year-old Alice masterminds a nationwide contest with an unusual prize - the adoption of Victor, an 85-year-old loner. The contest is won by Guillaume and his family, who gladly accommodate Victor into their lives along with the accompanying cash reward, despite initial hesitance from Guillaume's wife, Sylvie. Amid the domestic turbulence of a household adjusting to its newest elderly member, Sylvie is embroiled in a clandestine affair with the magazine's editor-in-chief, while her mother-in-law unabashedly flirts with Victor. The family's children, however, are enamored by their newfound "grandfather". All the while, Victor's disruptive presence begins to upend the family's order, transforming their home into a whirlwind of chaos. As Alice delves deeper into Victor's past, she stumbles upon alarming revelations, making her question whether she's inadvertently invited a predator into a house of unsuspecting prey.
