In the heart of a suburban Georgian neighborhood, William Duncan, a devoted family man and hardened ex-marine, embarks on an ordinary errand with his daughter, Kat. Kat, a promising softball player with dreams of turning pro, waits in the car while her father collects dinner. Their everyday world shatters when Rory and Danny, the dangerous sons of local kingpin Donnie, arrive unexpectedly, leaving Kat brutally murdered.
