Velvet Buzzsaw (2019)

When Josephina finds a man in her Los Angeles apartment building has died and left behind many intriguing paintings, she contacts Morf, a savage art critic, and Rhodora, a gallery owner, in Miami. Josephina steals the paintings, and Rhodora attempts to store most of them to ensure their scarcity, but the gallery employee tasked with this dies horribly. Others who come into contact with the paintings begin to die as well, and Morf is suffering from terrible hallucinations. It's clear the paintings must be destroyed, but their influence has already been unleashed on the world.
