Once an icon of Florida's vibrant skateboarding scene, Jesse Sorensen reigned supreme, his name synonymous with fame, fortune, and a free-spirited lifestyle. For over a decade, he was the undisputed king of the skate park, attracting lucrative contracts, adoring fans, and the allure of youth's reckless abandon. However, the merciless tide of time catches up with him, leaving Jesse, now in his twilight years of expertise, discarded by his skateboarding team. Tossed from the pinnacle of glory into the depths of financial ruin, Jesse finds solace under the roof of his elderly grandmother. His sanctuary, however, is already occupied by his 17-year old niece, Samantha. Samantha, a mirror image of Jesse's past, is swiftly falling into the same whirlpool of intensity and risk that once consumed him, bewitched by the town's rising skateboarder sensation. Jesse, now faced with a crossroads, must grapple with the daunting weight of responsibility — a specter he has artfully dodged all his life. As he watches Samantha tread his worn path, he must reconcile with his past and chart a course for a future he's never dared to envision. His journey unearths harsh realities, personal growth, and a newfound understanding of what it means to truly live.
