In the heart of Coimbatore, we meet Sunderrajan, affectionately known as Sura (Shiva), who embarks on a journey to Chennai, his stepping stone to Saudi Arabia. Welcoming him is Marthandam (S. P. B. Charan), a benevolent veterinary doctor soon to marry Sura's sister. Upon learning that his new life in Saudi Arabia will come with a strict prohibition on liquor and women, Sura is quick to set a mission for his last taste of freedom, dragging Marthandam along for the ride. Their quest leads them to the city's wine shop, only to find it closed due to elections. Undeterred, Sura's craving for his last 'quarter' spirals into an unexpected adventure through the vibrant underbelly of Chennai. From a scheming politico trading wine for votes, a swanky star hotel, a lively crew of Anglo-Indian youths, a bustling fish market, a clandestine gambling den, a quaint kulfi shop, to even a brothel house, Sura leaves no stone unturned in his relentless pursuit. During this intoxicating journey, Sura crosses paths with Saraswathi, known as Saro (Lekha Washington), a young woman on the brink of despair after a family fallout, and the eccentric duo King-Prince, a father and son (played by John Vijay) running the city's gambling hotspot. The narrative unfolds as Sura, accompanied by Marthandam and Saro, navigates the colorful chaos of Chennai, striving to fulfil his mission before his departure to Saudi Arabia.
