In the middle of a family crisis, Uncle Buck is called in to watch his teenage niece and her little brother and little sister. Under normal circumstances, the messy, unreliable, bachelor would be the last person asked to babysit, but he'll do in an emergency. After spending a few days with his nieces and nephew, Uncle Buck starts to realize their is more to life than just being a bachelor.
