Plot

As the dawn of an unusually sweltering summer breaks, 17-year-old Mariano plunges into his daily routine. With the rhythmic ticking of a stopwatch, he slices through the pool's cool embrace, and later, the hum of a lawnmower reverberates under the rising sun. His ordinary day takes a perilous turn when he inadvertently severs the mower's power cord. In his quest for tools to mend the damage, he stumbles upon a gun. In a moment of impulsive desolation, Mariano retreats to his room and shoots himself twice. Yet, Mariano survives against all odds. One bullet merely grazes his skull while the other seems to vanish, leaving no trace of an exit wound, evading even the prying eyes of the doctors. However, a peculiar double-note resonates when Mariano joins his friends in a musical soiree, a strange aftereffect he attributes to the elusive bullet believed to be lodged within him. But the ripple effect of Mariano's hasty action extends beyond him. It subtly alters the world of those around him, setting in motion a chain of events that they never anticipated. The story of "Two Shots Fired" thus unfolds, spinning a captivating tale of cause and effect, of actions and their far-reaching consequences.
