Police Academy 3: Back in Training (1986)

The original Police Academy graduates have proven themselves out in the field and come back full circle when they return to the school thanks to a crisis. Budgetary cuts have put the Academy in jeopardy, and its survival is predicated on a demonstration that it's worth its budget. Understanding the gravity of the situation, a number of alumni return to whip the new cadets into shape. But there are people in the police department who don't want them to succeed. Commandant Mauser has long been a thorn in the side of the graduates, and he returns to actively sabotage their efforts.
