Plot

In the heart of a traditional English working-class town, juvenile delinquency runs rampant as aimless youths find solace in gang culture. Enter Alan Darcy, a man driven by past experiences and a burning desire to redirect these young lives. He introduces boxing to them as an outlet; a beacon of discipline and self-belief amidst their bleak surroundings. As Darcy's boxing training centre takes shape, it becomes a haven for the once warring gangs, helping them transition from foes to comrades. Darcy's ambition doesn't stop there. He arranges a public boxing match, a testament to the newfound skills and unity of these former miscreants. The youths are also exposed to a training camp in the rugged mountains of Wales, further cementing their bond and fostering a sense of belonging in their nascent club society. As the countdown to the fight begins, the young boxers find themselves on a rollercoaster of anticipation and excitement. Their transformation from aimless gang members to focused athletes forms the core of this gritty, yet heartwarming tale.
