Plot

In the midst of political turmoil, Crown Prince Florizel of Corovia revels in the extravagance of his privileged life, his interests lying more in frivolous activities and adventures with the opposite sex than in his royal duties. His kingdom is under threat from anarchists determined to transform it into a republic, and multiple attempts have been made on his life. Despite the looming danger, Florizel is rather relieved when Princess Brenda of Irania declines their arranged marriage, a union designed to fortify both their kingdoms against such threats. Under the supervision of Colonel Geraldine, a loyal servant of Corovia and a guardian against scandal, Florizel is dispatched to London for a month. Under the disguise of Mr. Godall, he is to contemplate his future as king while negotiations with Irania persist. However, Florizel's attention is diverted when he becomes enamored with a mysterious woman he encounters on his voyage to England. An alluring enigma, she slips away upon their arrival in London, leaving Florizel yearning to know her better. In his pursuit of adventure, Florizel stumbles upon the Suicide Club, a private society with a peculiar purpose. By chance, he encounters the elusive woman - known as Miss Vandeleur - within the club. As he unravels the mystery of Miss Vandeleur and the club's chilling activities, Florizel is thrust headfirst into a dangerous game that threatens not only his life but also the stability of his kingdom. Will the thrill-seeking prince survive this deadly dance, or will the cold, dark allure of Miss Vandeleur and the Suicide Club prove too costly?
