Plot

Tom Canboro, a dedicated police detective, finds his world convoluted by a web of enigmatic events involving his Christian sister, Eileen, his brother Calvin, his wife Susan, and his peculiar brother-in-law, Jason. One ominous night, Jason inexplicably descends into madness, attempting to murder Eileen and dubbing her a "hater". The incident propels Tom into a chilling investigation, leading him towards a nefarious conspiracy that hints at devil worship. Racing towards help, he loses control of his car and crashes, slipping into unconsciousness. Upon awakening in an eerie hospital, he discovers years have slipped by. A dystopian world lies before him where individuals bear the mark of 666 on their right hands. Those who refuse are ruthlessly extinguished. Franco Macalusso, a figure once admired by Jason for his pacifist ideologies, now reigns supreme, with a vision of uniting the world as it was during the times of the Tower of Babel. In this unsettling new world, the so-called "Haters" or Christians, are on the run, broadcasting clandestine messages to expose the true face of the supposed Messiah, the Antichrist. Their courageous leader, Helen Hannah, however, finds herself ensnared by the law, throwing their mission into jeopardy. The tale of Tribulation (2000) unravels, immersing viewers in a gripping narrative of suspense, faith, and the struggle for truth.
