In the shadowy world of international intrigue, American citizen Samir Horn, a devout follower of the Holy Quran and former soldier, navigates a life of paradoxes. Set against a backdrop of middle-class normality, Samir's world is far from ordinary - he's a merchant of destruction, peddling explosives to Jihadis. His enigmatic character draws the relentless pursuit of both the FBI and a wayward CIA agent, as they attempt to decipher his true allegiance. An unexpected attack in a Yemeni prison forges an unshakeable bond between Samir and fellow inmate, Omar. Their daring prison escape leads them on a labyrinthine journey from Yemen to France, continually outmaneuvering the authorities. Their shared experiences bond them in a brotherhood of shadows, masterminding plans of terror while evading capture. Once back on U.S. soil, the duo, along with accomplices Fareed Mansour and Nathir, hatch a chilling plot. Their objective is a simultaneous terror attack of epic proportions - 50 bombs set to explode on 50 Greyhound buses, a grim symbol for each State. Employing modern, sophisticated methods, they recruit 50 volunteers, pawns in their deadly game of chess, confident that they can outwit the U.S. authorities. As the clock ticks towards the zero hour, the question arises - will the various intelligence agencies break their silos and join forces? Can they decipher the enigma that is Samir Horn, and halt the impending catastrophe? The suspense builds in this high-stakes game of cat and mouse, where the players are ever-changing, and nothing is as it appears to be.
