Plot

In the heart of a bustling city, Soo-Won (Kim Ji-Young) selflessly treads the sterile hospital corridors, dedicating herself to the care of the infirm. Her husband, Dong-Sik (Yu Jun-Sang), once an esteemed national shooter, finds himself grappling with the destructive allure of alcohol. His illustrious career, tarnished by this addiction, has been whittled down to a middle school shooting coach. Despite his strides towards sobriety, a celebratory drink with the board's chairwoman spells disaster. The euphoria of the evening rapidly fades as he recklessly steers his car into the night, tragically striking his own pupil, Chae-Bin. His freedom is snatched away as quickly as his sobriety, leaving him to wallow in the stark confines of a prison cell. As financial desperation descends, Soo-Won is driven to inconceivable lengths to gather compensation for the shattered family of the victim. Her actions, though taken out of necessity, cost her the sanctuary of her job at the hospital. In the midst of this turmoil, their young daughter, Joo-Mi, mysteriously disappears, plunging the family further into despair. Yet, as darkness threatens to consume them, a glimmer of hope emerges, offering a miraculous lifeline to this struggling family.
