In the bustling realm of traffic court, Torchy Blane, a woman of grit and wit, unexpectedly crosses paths with Jackie Maguire, the sweetheart of the infamous underworld figure, Denver Eddie. Maguire's fate is sealed with a shoplifting sentence, but Torchy, with her unyielding spirit, orchestrates her own imprisonment with a series of deceptive false alarms, forging an unlikely friendship with Maguire.
