Plot

Caught in a web of marital turmoil, Julia Sturges defies the comfort of British high society and embarks on a voyage to America, aboard the ill-fated RMS Titanic, with her two children, Annette and Norman. As the polished veneer of her marriage crumbles, she seeks refuge in a new life across the Atlantic. Unbeknownst to her, her estranged husband, Richard Ward Sturges, maneuvers to secure a spot on the same luxurious yet doomed vessel, fueling his relentless pursuit of custody for their children. Onboard the floating palace, their domestic discord is temporarily eclipsed by the ship's grandeur and the allure of new relationships. Annette, their older child, finds herself entwined in a budding romance with Gifford Rogers, an American college student, while young Norman savors the rare moments with his father. The majestic vessel becomes a backdrop for their tangled lives, each trying to navigate personal turbulence in the face of an impending catastrophe. As the Titanic's fate is sealed by an iceberg's lethal kiss, the magnitude of their family issues dwindles. The icy jaws of the Atlantic wait to claim the unsinkable ship, forcing the Sturges family to confront their own mortality and the fragility of their bonds, making their previous problems seem insignificant. Their personal saga is woven into the Titanic's legendary journey, a poignant testament to human resilience amidst tragedy.
