Time of the Wolf (2003)

In a time undefined, and amidst a cataclysm that has ravaged the environment beyond recognition, the Laurent family - Georges, his wife Anne, their teenage daughter Eva, and young son Ben - leave the skeletal remains of their city life behind. They journey towards their rural cabin, only to find it desecrated by uninvited intruders. The chaos escalates, culminating in a shocking act of violence that claims George's life and leaves the rest of the Laurent family adrift in a world that has lost all semblance of order and humanity. Stripped of their home and the patriarch's protective presence, Anne, Eva, and Ben are left to wander aimlessly through the desolate countryside.
