Plot

In the festive season of 1940, nestled in the heart of Everytown, cheer and merriment are suddenly obliterated by the ominous declaration of a global war. The once vivacious society gradually crumbles into disparate, primitive communities, oblivious to the origin of the war that has ensnared their lives for decades. Among the disillusioned survivors, John Cabal, a harbinger of wisdom, foresees the devastating toll this endless conflict will unleash. As the decades wear on, the war's relentless grip tightens, and by the 1960s, the Walking Sickness, a dreaded plague, begins to gnaw at the remnants of humanity. The society, now a mere shadow of its former self, is plunged into an abyss of despair and desolation. Yet, amidst the gloom, the indomitable spirit of survival refuses to be extinguished. In the 1970s, the plague recedes, breathing life back into the world. The reappearance of John Cabal heralds an era of hope as he speaks of a mysterious organization determined to resurrect civilization. This beacon of renewal sweeps across the world, rekindling the flame of civilization among the scattered groups of survivors. A remarkable reconstruction unfolds over the ensuing decades, and society reemerges, robust and resplendent, residing now in the safety of subterranean cities. However, as the year 2035 dawns, on the precipice of man's first lunar expedition, a wave of rebellion against the very progress that revived them stirs among the populace. The dissent escalates, threatening to plunge the world into the chaos of the past. As the tension mounts, the fate of this reborn civilization hangs in the balance, leaving viewers on the edge of their seats, wondering what lies in store for the inhabitants of this brave new world.
