Simultaneously, a narrative of strained marriage unfolds; Mehdi, a Parisian vice detective of Maghreb descent, grapples with his wife Sarah's indifference towards their newborn child. Sarah, a writer lost in the throes of motherhood, finds solace in her summer cabin, a place where their lives intersect with Manu's. During a shared seaside holiday, Mehdi rescues Manu from drowning, igniting a clandestine love affair, intense yet fleeting.
As this passionate rendezvous dissipates, Manu, now working a menial job at a camping ground, finds himself diagnosed as sero-positive. His life takes a turn towards a different struggle, seeking comfort in the companionship of Adrien, a pioneer in France's medical AIDS assistance society.
