Plot

In the heart of a secluded village, seven-year-old Sang-woo finds himself in the care of his grandmother while his mother seeks employment in the city. Unaccustomed to the tranquil countryside and its old-world charms, city-born Sang-woo finds himself at odds with his grandmother's traditional ways and the unfamiliar rural life. As feelings of abandonment slowly creep in, Sang-woo's actions become a mirror to his inner turmoil. He shamelessly bargains his grandmother's cherished possession for a video game, wastes food with an air of defiance, and unleashes his frustration through unrestrained outbursts. However, there's a transformation brewing within this young, confused boy. With his mother's prolonged absence and his grandmother's unwavering patience and affection, Sang-woo embarks on a journey of self-discovery. As his mother finally secures a job and returns to claim him, she finds a changed Sang-woo. He's no longer the disrespectful, selfish child, but a boy who has learned the values of empathy, humility, and the profound significance of family ties through his grandmother's ceaseless love and devotion.
