Plot

On the haunting day of April 2nd, 2008, Jon, a brilliant 32-year-old mathematician, is forever scarred as he witnesses his best friend David fall victim to a fatal shooting at an eerily deserted gas station outside Madrid. A decade later, on the same ominous date, a young boy named Nico, a victim of relentless school bullying, is coerced into entering the very same gas station, now shrouded in an air of foreboding mystery. Nico, a 10-year-old with a penchant for video games, stumbles upon a chilling note in a magazine that predicts his death at the gas station on April 12th. This prophecy sends a wave of terror through Nico, while simultaneously igniting Jon's interest. As Nico grapples with the escalating fear and paranoia, Jon unearths a troubling pattern of similar tragedies at the gas station dating back to 1913. Haunted by his friend's demise and intrigued by the historical pattern, Jon channels his mathematical prowess into decoding the eerie pattern of events, even as his own mind teeters on the brink of madness. His obsessive quest for truth strains his relationship with Andrea, David's girlfriend and his own former love. As the dreaded date of April 12th looms, Nico's mother Lucía fights to dispel her son's growing terror, while Jon battles his increasingly unstable mind, having abandoned his schizophrenia treatment. Convinced that fate has slated Nico for death, Jon embarks on a desperate race against time, hoping to thwart the seemingly inevitable. The question lingers, is this a genuine premonition or merely a figment of Jon's fragile mind? Can he shatter the relentless cycle of tragedy before it claims another life?
