The Walking Hills (1949)

In the barren heart of the desert, the tantalizing allure of ancient gold buried within the mythical Walking Hills beckons an eclectic group of adventurers. Among them is rancher Jim Carey (Randolph Scott), the enigmatic rodeo rider Shep (William Bishop) with a murder accusation hanging over his head, and the sagely Old Will (Edgar Buchanan). Joining them are Chalk (Arthur Kennedy), young cowboy Johnny (Jerome Courtland), Josh (Josh White), the entertainer, and Frazee (John Ireland), a private detective tailing Shep.
