Plot

In a land mirroring the intensity and strife of rural Mexico, a harsh government wages a ruthless war against rural rebels, employing horrifying tactics such as torture and murder. As soldiers cloak a small town in fear, they sever the link between the rebels and their crucial ammunition store secreted in a nearby field. Amidst the chaos, a three-generation family of rebels - a grandfather, his son, and grandson - persist in the shadowed hills. The septuagenarian, a violin slung gently over his shoulder, attempts to cross the heavily guarded checkpoint under the guise of a simple farmer tending to his cornfields. The military leader, intrigued by the old man's musical talent, grants passage but demands daily violin lessons in return. A delicate game of subterfuge begins - will the elderly rebel be able to smuggle the much-needed ammunition in his violin case right under the noses of the enemy?
