The Tin Star (1957)

In a landscape punctuated by lawlessness and danger, veteran bounty hunter and former sheriff, Morgan 'Morg' Hickman, rides into a volatile small town. He carries with him the lifeless body of a notorious outlaw, seeking to claim a $500 reward. The town, bereft of their sheriff and grappling with the menace of a trigger-happy bully, Bart Bogardus, greets him with disdain. Within this tumultuous backdrop, we find Ben Owens, a young and inexperienced lawman, holding the reins as the temporary sheriff.
