Plot

In the heart of Osaka's underbelly, a restless generation treads dangerous paths, their futures shrouded in uncertainty. They navigate a labyrinth of vice, drawn inevitably into petty theft, violent skirmishes, illicit trade of identity cards, and the unnerving commerce of blood. Shifting allegiances blur the lines of loyalty and betrayal, marking an ever-changing landscape of survival. Childhood friends Tatsu and Takeshi find themselves reluctantly swept into Shin's rising gang. An audacious upstart, Shin uses constant displacement as a strategy, a desperate dance to elude the omnipresent local heavyweight. Amidst this chaos, a young woman named Hanoko emerges, her ambitions as fierce as the world she inhabits. Initially, she is entwined in the blood trade with her father, only to later ally with the ambitious Shin. However, the partnership is short-lived, as Hanoko is a force unto herself. She finds a protégé in the sensitive Takeshi, taking him under her protective wing. Yet, in this volatile world, treachery is commonplace and trust is a luxury. Double-crosses are plentiful, and the bonds of friendship morph into deadly rivalries. In the end, the most intimate of allies can become the most ruthless of assassins. The Sun's Burial presents a gripping tale of survival, ambition, and the tragic cost of loyalty in a world where life hangs by a thread.
