In the heart of rustic Canada, workaholic junior attorney Kate Jordan finds herself thrust into an unconventional assignment by her ambitious senior partner at their U.S. law firm. Eager to close an estate sale before Christmas, and with the tantalizing promise of a promotion to partner, Kate heads off to the reputedly haunted inn, undeterred by the ominous rumors that swirl around it. Upon arrival, her expert inspector, spooked by the local lore, leaves the task unfinished, and the enigmatic caretaker's tales of the house ghost do little to dissuade her. It's here that she encounters the spectral gentleman, Daniel, a charming enigma bound to the inn by a ninety-five-year-old curse. Known as the Christmas Spirit, he materializes for the twelve days of Christmas, caught in a timeless loop since his murder during the Prohibition era. Kate, steadfast and pragmatic, is not one to back down from a challenge, even if it involves breaking an age-old curse.
