The sorcerer is trying to teach is protege how to follow instructions. The protege is unsure of what the sorcerer means, but he does his bet to figure it out. Before long, the protege is exhausted and tries to find a shortcut to make the work go faster. However, the shortcut has a lot of unintended consequences. The sorcerer and the protege team up forces to try to stop darkness from taking over the community in which they live.
