The Solar System (2017)

In the heart of the festive season, the estranged Dessola family, scattered by time and tensions, converge after a hiatus of two years for a Christmas Eve reunion. At the helm is Leonardo, a workaholic politician whose relentless pursuit of power has left his familial bonds in the shadows. This year, he stirs the pot by bringing his current girlfriend back to his hometown, a woman whose past is entwined with his own kin - she is the ex-love of his son, Pavel. The Christmas Eve setting serves as a backdrop to the unfolding drama, where sibling rivalries resurface, old grudges ignite, and a tangled love triangle threatens to unravel. The table is set with daughter Adul, son Pavel, and the innocent eyes of 9-year-old grandson Buri, all with their own tales of dissatisfaction and discontent. As this rare reunion degenerates into a battlefield of fresh animosity and dormant resentments, the Dessola family find themselves in a whirlwind of chaos.
