The Slave Merchants (1964)

In the arid heart of Baghdad, the ruthless Ganor, chieftain of the Desert People, seizes control by assassinating Sultan Sandor and imprisoning his rightful successors, Daykor and Soraya. As the sultanate withers under Ganor's iron fist, a spark of rebellion ignites in the form of Anthar, a young dissenter who successfully liberates Soraya from her chains. However, their taste of freedom is short-lived as Soraya falls into the clutches of Akrim, a sinister slave merchant. Sold to the opulent Sheik Kamal, Soraya defies her fate as a mere object of pleasure, choosing instead a daring leap from a tower into the swirling river below. Her doom seems certain until Anthar, her relentless savior, appears to pull her from the watery abyss. Together, they embark on a perilous journey back to Baghdad, where Anthar outwits the guards to release Daykor from his shackles. But their victory is overshadowed as Ganor ensnares Anthar, forcing him into a deadly duel with a rampaging rhinoceros. Meanwhile, Daykor and Soraya rally the oppressed citizens of Baghdad, leading a revolt that shakes the city to its foundations. As the battle rages, Anthar joins his comrades, and together they face the final onslaught. Amidst the swirling sands and the echoes of war, they stand against the tyrant Ganor, their hearts aflame with the undying hope of reclaiming their beloved city.
