In the quaint and tradition-steeped town of Steeple Falls, where Halloween is both a time of pride and profit, the unexpected death of eccentric hardware store owner, Frank Carlyle, stirs the supernatural pot. Reluctantly leaving the city's hustle and bustle, Richard Carlyle, Frank's somewhat estranged son, returns to his roots, his two children in tow - the quick-witted Ian and the spirited Claire. Once a town resident, Zachariah Kull was burned at the stake 200 years ago, accused of a terrible crime - the murder of his wife. Now, he seeks to amass power by trapping spirits, planning his terrifying revenge on the town of Steeple Falls. In this eerie blend of family drama and spectral suspense, the fate of their grandfather's spirit and the entire town rests upon young Ian and Claire's shoulders. As they venture into the ghostly unknown, they must outwit and stop Zachariah, ensuring their grandfather's spirit reaches its final resting place while saving Steeple Falls from a vengeful phantom's wrath.
