Plot

In the perilous aftermath of the Civil War, Bud Massidy, a drifter stripped of all possessions, stumbles upon a deathly scene of fallen Union soldiers, victims of the savage Osage Indians. Among the wreckage, he finds a dying trooper clutching an official document, a desperate plea for $150,000 from Wagon City's bank for the army's wages. Following an unexpected brawl in a local saloon, Bud, now accompanied by Slim, his newly met comrade, embarks on a relentless pursuit of this elusive fortune, crossing paths with the notorious outlaw, Carson. But their alliance is short-lived. Betrayed and left for dead, Bud and Slim's fate takes a twist when they encounter Sergeant Warwick and his convoy, en route to Fort Alamo with essential supplies. Seizing this opportunity, Bud poses as a U.S. Cavalry lieutenant, leading the convoy through the treacherous terrain of hostile territory, a ruse that teeters on the edge of discovery. Further stirring the pot is Janet, a fiery redhead with her own agenda, and the ever-looming threat of the Indian tribes, who lay in wait for the perfect moment to strike. As tensions rise and alliances blur, Bud and his ragtag team must navigate a treacherous path of deception, greed, and survival. Will they reach Fort Alamo or is this the end of their tumultuous journey? The road to Fort Alamo is fraught with danger and unexpected alliances, a journey that promises to keep viewers on the edge of their seats until the end.
