In the heart of a troubled marriage, Gail Hartman, an adept white water rafting guide, seeks solace among the untamed currents of a wild river she once mastered. A workaholic architect, her husband Tom, and their son Roarke, join her on this journey, leaving their daughter in the safe hands of her grandparents.
