The Quiet Gun (1957)

Unyielding gun-for-hire Doug Sadler struts into a tranquil Western town, instantly unsettling the equilibrium by tormenting Sampson, a local with a gentle soul. The town's stalwart sheriff, Carl Brandon, finds himself provoked not just by Sadler's cruelty, but also by an unexpected visit from the city attorney Hardy, who brings unsettling news.
