The Postman (1997)

This film takes place in post-apocalyptic America after a world war. Many survivors have gathered around a Nazi-like dictator who has delusions of becoming the ruler of the new America. A man is forced to join the group, but he escapes and runs into a postal jeep that has a skeleton wearing a postal uniform in it. He puts on the uniform and picks up the postal bag and starts a conman’s game of delivering mail to survive. When he sees how happy he makes the survivors, he abandons the game and starts to plan ways to bring down the dictator.
