Plot

In the unforgiving social jungle of high school, best friends Jodi (Victoria Justice) and Mindy (Eden Sher) find themselves the unfortunate targets of a brutal prank orchestrated by the reigning queen bee. Rather than accepting their defeat, however, these brilliant geeks decide to turn the tables on the high school hierarchy. In a daring act of rebellion, they unite the school's overlooked outcasts, igniting a campaign to overthrow the popular clique that has long held the school in its cruel grasp. Yet, as the saying goes, "be careful what you wish for." As the outcasts begin to taste the intoxicating thrill of power, it threatens to spiral out of control, clouding judgment, straining Jodi and Mindy's unbreakable bond, and even jeopardizing Jodi's blossoming romance with the enigmatic Dave (Avan Jogia). THE OUTCASTS is a vibrant and humorous exploration of the quintessential teenage experience, but with a twist. It’s a relatable journey that challenges the haste with which society labels us, and a poignant reminder of the power of true friendship and the joy of finding one's place in the world. The film unravels the classic high school narrative, infusing it with wit, empathy, and a generous serving of fun.
