The Night Watchman (2016)

Haunted by a past marred with drugs, alcohol, and an abusive father, Jack Mayfield steps out of a two-year prison sentence and into a second chance at life. He returns home to the comfort of his brother Mike, his wife Alma, and their young son Raymond. Welcoming the possibility of redemption, Jack accepts a job offered by his preacher brother to serve as a night watchman in the town's old, forsaken mine. The task - to protect the remaining industrial materials from the prying hands of thieves intending to hawk them in the underground market. As Jack embarks on this nocturnal journey, he grapples with his dark past and the growing awareness of his brother-in-law's concealed desires for his wife Alma. But these human tribulations pale in comparison to the chilling sensation that starts to envelop him. Jack becomes increasingly convinced that he's not alone in the desolate mine.
