Amidst a rising tide of online popularity, best friends and amateur horror filmmakers, Devon and Jamal, dare to delve deeper into the abyss of the unknown. Their YouTube channel, previously devoted to fabricated paranormal phenomena and simulated monster sightings, is in need of a thrilling new direction. Driven by their shared passion for horror, they launch an audacious venture - "The Monster Project". Their objective is profound, to document genuine monsters, or at least, individuals consumed by such beliefs. Answering their online casting call, a trio of chilling adversaries emerges from society's shadows: a cunning vampire, a cursed skin-walker, and a demon fueled by relentless fury. The stage is perfectly set within a neglected mansion lost in the heart of an eerily silent forest, under the looming spectacle of a rare total lunar eclipse. As the night unfolds, the crew soon realizes they have recklessly stirred forces far beyond their comprehension. Among the crew is a recovering drug addict wrestling with the demons of withdrawal and paranoia. As a man of faith, he senses the impending calamity his friends have unwittingly invited. As the interviews spiral into a deadly dance with darkness, he finds himself in a desperate struggle to quell the rising tide of evil, both within him and around him. "The Monster Project" transforms from an audacious experiment into a terrifying battle for survival.
