Plot

In the glitzy world of Hollywood's golden age, Charley Pearl, a wealthy playboy soon-to-be married to the daughter of a powerful movie studio tycoon, embarks on a rollercoaster ride of love and chance. As part of his bachelor party, Charley and his friends venture to the sparkling city of Las Vegas, where they stumble upon a sultry singer named Vicki Anderson performing at a smoky nightclub. Charley, entranced by Vicki's allure and voice, is unable to resist her charm, and their lives intertwine in a dance of destiny. The complication? Vicki is the moll of the notorious gangster Bugsy Siegel. When Siegel discovers Charley and Vicki together, he forces them into a shotgun wedding, a far cry from Charley's initial matrimonial plans. Upon hearing the news, Charley's original fiancée, the daughter of the studio kingpin, is devastated and abandons him, leaving Charley entangled in a whirlwind romance with Vicki, a woman who seemingly doesn't fit his high-society lifestyle. Yet, despite their mismatched worlds, Charley and Vicki find themselves inexplicably drawn to each other again and again, marrying and separating in an unpredictable pattern. "The Marrying Man" is a captivating tale of love, chance, and the unexpected paths that life often takes, set against the backdrop of a glamorous era. This romantic chaos brings a whirl of glamour, drama, and a touch of the underworld, blending comedy and romance with an unforgettable charm.
