The Aviator (2004)

Based on the true story of American businessman, pilot, and engineer Howard Hughes, this biopic covers the entire arc of his career, from his early days as a film director to the height of power as the controller and operator of Transcontinental and Western Air (TWA), at the time one of the largest airlines in the world. Along the way, his obsessive compulsive disorder threatens to unravel his career by transforming him into a paranoid and reclusive hermit. Business rivalries with other airlines and charges of war profiteering from the federal government compound his problems.
