In the heart of a world on the brink of chaos, Chad Turner (Craig Sheffer) is the human vessel for the only operational biometric computer chip, ominously known as The Mark of the Beast. This tiny piece of technology holds the potential to shift the global power balance, a fact not lost on the ruthless Joseph Pike (Gary Daniels). Despite the unexpected occurrence of "The Rapture," Pike remains relentlessly focused on his objective - acquiring the chip. To aid in his pursuit, Pike cunningly captures Mr. Cooper (Eric Roberts), the security chief of Avanti, the enterprise behind the chip's creation.
