Plot

In the heart of a prestigious museum, three middle-aged security guards find solace and satisfaction in their favorite pieces of art. Each of them, bound together by a shared sentimental connection to the artworks, is struck by the devastating news that their beloved collection is being sold to a Danish museum. Unable to fathom a life devoid of the tranquility and fulfillment these masterpieces offer, they hatch an audacious plot to reclaim their cherished treasures. Not just mere colleagues, but partners in an audacious crime, they devise a scheme to snatch the artworks during the delicate window between their packing and their airborne departure. The plan, though seemingly simple, requires them to navigate the tricky terrain of forgery, smuggling and the perfect art-switch. Yet, their endeavor is further complicated by personal obstacles. Roger must outmaneuver his intrusive wife, who he's unwittingly promised a Florida vacation, coinciding with their planned heist. Meanwhile, George battles his own eccentricities, an inexplicable urge to disrobe in front of his beloved warrior statue. Injecting humor and chaos into their daring mission, these unexpected hurdles push the trio to their limits. "The Maiden Heist" is a comedic romp that weaves together a tale of art, attachment, and audacity set against the backdrop of a museum heist. As the guards grapple with personal idiosyncrasies and their shared desperation to save the art they love, viewers are invited to witness a heist that is as much about preserving their emotional contentment as it is about stealing art.
