Plot

In the gritty underbelly of post-war reality, The Kill Hole introduces us to Lt. Samuel Drake (Chadwick Boseman), an Iraq War veteran grappling with the harrowing scars of combat. Drake, recently discharged, navigates the challenges of civilian life as a taxi driver, while residing in a dilapidated motel room, a stark symbol of his fractured existence. His past, though unseen, constantly nips at his heels, leading him to seek solace in counseling sessions helmed by Marshall (Billy Zane), a beacon in the dark abyss of his torment. Just as Drake embarks on his journey towards redemption, his fragile world splinters as he is thrust onto a perilous path by two executives (Peter Greene and Ted Rooney) of a clandestine military firm. They task him with an inescapable mission - to hunt down and eliminate Sgt. Devin Carter (Tory Kittles), a rogue Marine Corps sniper. Carter, entangled in his crusade against members of the mercenary firm, is the mirror reflecting the grim truth of Drake's past. A haunting exploration of war's aftermath, The Kill Hole narrates the tale of two men linked by a shared history of violence. As Drake is propelled deeper into the wilderness of the Pacific Northwest, he is forced to confront not only Carter but also the searing war crime that has shadowed them both. A poetic symphony of survival, the film explores the uneasy camaraderie that forms between Drake and his enigmatic prey, illuminating the struggle for redemption amidst a world marred by conflict.
