Plot

In the heart of a mundane reality, where Fred Flintstone and George Jetson juggle grueling workloads and familial responsibilities, an extraordinary day unfolds. This twist of fate is sparked by Elroy Jetson's ingenious invention: a time machine. Initially brushed off as a fanciful amusement, the Jetson family gamely steps into the contraption, expecting an excursion further into their own future. However, an unintended detour, courtesy of their dog Astro, catapults them back to the dawning days of prehistory, landing them in the bedrock-solid town of Bedrock. In the midst of their holiday, the Flintstones and the Rubbles cross paths with the Jetsons, mistaking them for extraterrestrial visitors. Fred, quick to adapt, introduces George as his cousin, and a semblance of normality resumes. But the equilibrium is disrupted once more when the time machine whisks the Flintstones into the Jetsons' future. As the Flintstones grapple with a world of robotic automation and space-age technology, the Jetsons find themselves contending with the primitive, no-frills lifestyle of the Stone Age. While the families navigate their reversed realities, back in the future, Henry Orbit and Rosie construct a new time machine and embark on a rescue mission. Their journey takes them through time, encountering a host of historical figures, including Robin Hood. The question remains: Will the Flintstones ever return to their beloved Bedrock? Will the Jetsons find their way back to their futuristic city? And will Fred and Barney manage to hold onto their jobs in this temporal turmoil? The answers are as uncertain as the sands of time.
