In the heart of Texas, amidst rumors and untold truths, Ellen Beldon is sentenced to the gallows for the alleged murder of her spouse. Yet, her uncle's loyal ranch foreman, Jud Farrow, dares the impossible, whisking her from the jaws of certain death to the relative safety of her uncle's secluded New Mexico ranch.
