In the twilight of a once-lustrous career, Lee Hayden, a seasoned actor famed for his roles in Westerns, finds himself relegated to the shadows of his former glory. His life takes an unexpected turn when a terminal pancreatic cancer diagnosis shatters his world. Unable to voice his impending doom to his distant family, Lee finds solace in solitude, with his dreams offering both solace and torment. His life's second act begins when he crosses paths with Charlotte Dylan, a dynamic stand-up comedienne whose presence inadvertently catapults him back into the public eye. As Lee grapples with the prospect of a career resurgence in the face of his looming mortality, he experiences a deep emotional chasm that challenges him to reconcile both realities.
