In 1993, the Wyrick family, consisting of the medium Lisa, her ranger husband Andy, and their gifted daughter Heidi, set roots down in Pine Mountain, Georgia. They are drawn to the allure of an affordable old property set against the backdrop of the picturesque countryside. Lisa, haunted by her ability to see the dead, relies on medication to shroud her supernatural visions. This delicate balance of their life is further complicated when Lisa's free-spirited sister, Joyce, requests to inhabit a trailer on their property.
