In the quaint tourist town of Kanab, Utah, the prestigious Parry Lodge stands as a beacon of sophistication amidst the simplicity of small-town life. Owned by the embittered quadriplegic Edmund Parry and his selfless sister Julia, the lodge teems with a captivating blend of guests and locals, each with their own intriguing narratives. Edmund's bitterness, speculated to stem from a failed romance, adds a layer of tension to the lodge’s atmosphere.
One evening, while most of the lodge's inhabitants are engrossed in a dance at Three Lakes, a chilling discovery is made. David Hewson, a Los Angeles lawyer seeking respite, and Beth Dixon, Edmund's secretary and David's romantic interest, stumble upon the lifeless body of the provocative Marsha Morgan by the lake. Marsha, a guest at the lodge, had a web of connections that now becomes a labyrinth of potential suspects.
