Plot

In the festive setting of George and Denise Barnett's Kentucky home, Christmas has bloomed, filling the air with joy, laughter, and smiling children. However, beneath the decorated exterior, a storm brews. George's concern for his friend Don Ford, coupled with Denise's anxiety over the upcoming Christmas Eve concert at their church, casts a shadow over their holiday cheer. In parallel, George's brother Allen, a studio guitarist carving his niche in Los Angeles, grapples with a broken promise of returning to Kentucky, a vow left unfulfilled for months. As George uncovers Don's worries about his daughter Celia, a struggling actress lost in the hustle of Hollywood, he concocts a scheme. Allen must return home, and he must bring Celia with him. Simpler in theory than in execution, the plan poses unexpected challenges. The Barnetts' Christmas plans take another hit when Denise's parents decide to drop in for the holidays. Simultaneously, George's meddling lands him in hot water with Don, and the church choir is left without its soloist for the concert. Celia, with her melodious voice, could be the solution to their choir conundrum, but Christmas Eve unravels a tapestry of conflicts. The key to untangling the mess lies in the powerful act of forgiveness, a gift that might just save their Christmas.
